Webinar: Understanding psychosocial risks and hazards in the workplace
A psychosocial hazard is anything that relates to the design or management of work, the work environment, plant and equipment, or workplace interactions and behaviours. And managing psychosocial hazards and risks at work is just as important as managing physical risks.
Business Chamber Queensland has partnered with experts in this field, DWF to bring you a webinar that will:
- highlight your obligations based on the Work Health and Safety (Psychosocial Risks) Amendment Regulation 2022 (Qld) and the Managing the risk of psychosocial hazards at work Code of Practice 2022 that came into effect in Queensland on April 1, 2023.
- explain amendments to the WHS Legislation and Codes of Practice relating to psychosocial hazards
- outline common psychosocial hazards
- help you understand your duties as an employer in managing these hazards
- discuss how to address or avoid these hazards and the risks of not doing so
